Someday when I grow up, I dream of being a great photographer. At times, I develop a mean case of shutter envy. This usually occurs after I see Doogie pull out that sweet Nikon D3 that he likes to brag about!
For now, I’m still rockin’ my trusty Nikon D200.
To be honest, it takes much better pictures than my old camera.
Being around this crew of talented photographers certainly gives a person the motivation to try and get better. I pretty much shoot photos of anything I can because the only way to really improve is to practice. So, the other day, we were hanging out at home and down the stairs came this………
I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to snap a few photos of my three year old son who, as you can see, has one hell of an eye for fashion. I figured these would eventually become great pictures to show Mr. Spidey Crabcake’s first girlfriend, to post in his yearbook when he’s a senior, or to possibly use as leverage to keep me out of the nursing home someday!

That smurf camera took some good smurfing photos. But…I dropped it and smurfed it up.
